The site is located in a town called Mirza near Guwahati city .The site is a community space where there are many small temples located. The community living in Mirza wanted a new temple structure designed for goddess Maa Nijeshwari. The temple is designed on a high plinth and the main garbhagriha of the temple is flanked by 2 smaller garbhagriha making the temple 16m high.
